In Love with an Idiot by Shui Qian Cheng (Chapter 5)

Hello! I migrated the translations here because it would be easier to look at the annotations here. You can click this link to open up a Google Doc with the numbered annotations.

Warning (?): I personally prefer to translate the "spirit" of the original Chinese rather than the words themselves and use English localizations whenever possible. Thus, I tend to take a degree of liberty with the vocabulary and sentence structure, and while the meaning should be correct to the best of my ability, it might not match word for word with the original Chinese.

Thus, Jian Suiying left early this time also. With things like this between them, there’s no point in staying any longer. Remembering the way Li Yu had looked at him right before he left, he somewhat regretted his impulsiveness. However, he quickly reminded himself that a man should always take responsibility for his actions, and that there’s no regretting what had already been done. In any case, he kissed the guy and hadn’t lost anything from it.

Jian Suiying, that massive hooligan, recalled the light, soft taste of those lips, which had been somewhat different from what he’d expected given the icy feeling that Li Yu gave off. This discrepancy, however, only served to fascinate him even more.

But that kick to the stomach really fucking hurt, Jian Suiying thought as he rubbed his stomach with fear lingering in his heart. Li Yu hadn’t even used his full strength due to the angle, or else Jian Suiying just might find himself with internal bleeding. It seems like half-heartedly forcing the guy into bed wouldn’t be feasible after all; the execution of such a plan would be too difficult. Li Yu's martial abilities were somewhat above his initial assessment, and he needed to change his strategy or else he’d die before accomplishing anything[1], which would be kind of bad.

Young Master Jian sighed, stomach full with not only pain but also evil fire. There’s envy, anger, unwillingness to admit defeat, and, most directly, **[2].

The number one principle he’d always subscribed to in life was "As long as I’m happy". He didn’t like beating around the bush in his words and actions, nor did he ever bother concealing what he liked and disliked. In his opinion a male desiring to mate with a partner he fancied was the most natural thing in nature, and it’s not like he actually **ed Li Yu or anything, so what’s Li Yu frothing at the mouth about?

And he just did not get it, what did Li Yu not like about him?

Thinking about this depressed Jian Suiying a bit. All his life he’d been a narcissistic and arrogant sort, and he’d never doubted his own charm, whether it be with males or females. When had anyone ever rejected Young Master Jian like this? He felt so wronged he could die.

While waiting at a red light, the long-faced Young Master Jian flipped through the phone book, finally landing on a boy he’d recently taken a liking to, and called him.

A voice full of subservient flattery was soon heard on the other side.

Jian Suiying said, mood sour: "Go to XX Hotel and wait for me."

Although Jian Suiying may look like a hooligan, he’s actually not that into those kinds of things. It’s normal for a man to lust, but if that's all a guy thought about all day long he’s either a pervert or a good-for-nothing ball of hay. So his being so hasty towards Li Yu just now was, indeed, a little embarrassing. He figured that maybe it's because he went too long without doing it and was thirsty in both body and mind, and that’s why he did something like forcing a kiss on Li Yu today when, in fact, he had originally hoped for their first kiss to be romantic yet full of **.

Thus, Young Master Jian heartily pounded the pretty boy into the mattress for the better half of the night, and only when the boy's voice went hoarse did he finally manage to vent the evil fire in his body.

After he finished his business Jian Suiying told the boy to leave. He never let any of them stay the night, always feeling uneasy about it.

He got up, took a shower, and looked at the clock. It’s already past three, and he’s feeling sleepy from the combined physical exhaustion of alcohol and doing that. Drowsily, he planned to have someone change the sheets so he could sleep.

His phone suddenly rang at this moment. He picked it up, and it was Jian Suilin.

Why would Jian Suilin dare to call him at this hour? Looking for a verbal beating or something?

Or had there been an emergency?

He quickly answered: "Hello?"

But it was Li Yu's voice on the other side. This was the first time he heard Li Yu's voice like this, obviously inarticulate but still forcing himself to be calm; one word from him, and Jian Suiying knew that he had had too much to drink.

Jian Suiying's heartbeat raced, not knowing what had happened: "Xiao Li Zi? What's going on?"

"Suilin’s drunk."

"What about you? Are you drunk also?"

"No...but...can't drive, it's too, too late, I want to take him home, but...don't know...how to go..."

Li Yu's thinking was starting to slow, and Jian Suiying knew all too well what it’s like to be this drunk–certainly, Li Yu himself didn’t know what he wanted to say or do, and calling him had probably been a decision made by the last remnants of his rational thinking.

The depressed mood that had ensnared Jian Suiying for most of the night suddenly disappeared without a trace. Not only was he not depressed anymore, he felt so full of joy he wanted to laugh. For Li Yu to call him at this time, even if his mind wasn’t clear and it had been a subconscious decision, was enough for him to feel happy.

For Li Yu to remember him when he’s in need of help, no matter from which angle one looked at it, meant that Jian Suiying held a certain place in Li Yu’s heart, right? To be able to solve problems for the person he liked, no matter big or small, invigorated and fulfilled him as a man.

While comforting him, Jian Suiying hurriedly put on his clothes: "Don't worry, I'm very close to you, stay still, I'll get to you soon."

Li Yu gave a slow "Oh".

Jian Suiying hung up the phone, put on the rest of his clothes, and rushed out of the hotel room at the speed of light.

Fortunately, few cars were on the road at three in the morning, and traffic was nonexistent; Jian Suiying even ran two red lights. To be honest, this matter really wasn’t urgent, but Jian Suiying just had the feeling that Li Yu needed him, and he had to get there as soon as possible, because this was the first time that Li Yu needed him.

When he arrived, he saw quite a few young students lying crookedly around the hall–chances are, all those who couldn’t leave on their own were sleeping here. A few waiters were watching from the sidelines.

Looked like the young ones had gone crazy upon the liberation.

Jian Suiying immediately found Li Yu, who laid lopsidedly on the sofa in a way that just about wrapped himself around Jian Suilin, eyes closed, long eyelashes casting a soft shadow on his lower eyelid. His cheeks were flushed, and his breathing was even as he slept peacefully, looking childish and cute.

On Jian Suilin’s side, more than half of his body was in Li Yu’s arms, and his posture was a little awkward. He probably wasn’t feeling very comfortable in his sleep and frequently furrowed his eyebrows.

Jian Suiying couldn’t help but laugh.

He went ahead and pulled Jian Suilin up: "Xiao Lin Zi, wake up."

Only after a long while did Jian Suilin open his hazy eyes. After one look at him, he closed them again and let all of his weight fall onto Jian Suiying's arm.

Drunk people are especially heavy, and even Jian Suiying suddenly had a bit of a hard time, so he kicked Li Yu with his foot: "Li Yu, wake up." Li Yu might not have been as drunk, and he opened his eyes with difficulty. He said breathlessly: "You came."

"How did you two become like this? Aren’t you usually pretty tight-lipped and won’t drink easily? What's the matter today? Drinking yourself into this state, really." He called a strong young waiter to take over Jian Suilin.

After the waiter brought Jian Suilin away, he helped Li Yu stand up.

At this time, Li Yu was wobbling as he walked and couldn’t be bothered to be sensitive to his surroundings. He didn’t even make a fuss as Suiying snaked an arm around his waist, and he whispered, "Send Suilin back."

"I'm already here, you think I'll throw him onto the street or something?" You should worry about yourself instead, Jian Suiying thought wickedly, you’re about to lose something very precious at this rate, yet you’re still thinking about others?

Li Yu seemed relieved at this, so he lowered his head and got into the car with Jian Suiying’s help.

Jian Suiying drove the two to the hotel where he had just stayed at. En route, he called the hotel to have his room cleaned and reserved an additional room; when he arrived, he threw Jian Suilin into a room with the help of a security guard, and then got Li Yu into his room.

After closing the door, Jian Suiying really felt like a big bad wolf looking down at a rabbit on his plate; this kind of psychological satisfaction where he could do whatever he wanted was…truly delicious.

Jian Suiying sat on the edge of the bed and just looked at Li Yu.

If Li Yu could see the look in Jian Suiying's eyes right now, he would probably be shocked wide awake no matter what he had in him.

It's just that, after looking at him for a long time and thinking over it for a long time, a feeling of no knowing what to do suddenly arose in Jian Suiying.

Young Master Jian didn’t consider himself a particularly upright person. Whether it be his family background or his life experience, they all made him a lot less sensitive in regards to morality and shame compared to most. In short, he’s a thick-skinned dare-devil and no one can easily tell him what to do. But he’s also not spectacularly evil; even if he really did want to take Li Yu then and there, having his way with an unconscious person was really not…something that can be called human.

And just think about Li Yu's temper--the kid would probably murder him when he woke up tomorrow.

Jian Suiying sighed and reached out to touch Li Yu's face. He went from the handsome eyebrows, to the tall bridge of his nose, then those soft lips, and after that he thoroughly savored the smooth skin of his cheeks.

As he touched him, the small sparks lighting up within Young Master Jian accidentally spread into a wild prairie fire. He quickly retracted his hand in shock, afraid that if he were to touch Li Yu any more, he’d go straight to untying the belt of Li Yu’s trousers next.

Young Master Jian’s urges were killing him.

To be honest, he had just done it, and his physical desires had been completely vented, so if he's to go at it again right now he really won't be up to the task; however, even if his body hadn't been particularly eager, the desire in his heart was overwhelming. The desire to take this person as his own, to have him truly accept him, to belong to him--grew larger every time he looked at Li Yu, slowly expanding to the point where even he felt unable to control or believe the magnitude of it. He’s now a little lost: did he see Li Yu as a conquest, or was he really starting to fall in love with him?

Jian Suiying took off Li Yu’s alcohol-stained clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower, hoping to cool down his head as well as the rest of his body. Li Yu was still in a deep sleep when he came out, breathing steadily with one leg hanging over the bed.

Jian Suiying took off his shoes and hesitated as he looked at the rest of the clothes on Li Yu.

The clothes didn’t look dirty so there’s no need to take them off, right...but it'd be so uncomfortable sleeping with clothes on, so let's go ahead and take them off. On one hand, Jian Suiying’s looking for any excuse to strip Li Yu naked, and on the other, trying to stop himself from doing so. In the end, he wasn't able to restrain himself and decided on getting Li Yu naked. Even if he didn’t do anything in the end, for one, it would be nice to cop a look and feel of the guy, and two, he could create a very ambiguous scene tomorrow and pin the blame on Li Yu's drunkenness, framing himself as completely innocent.

Thinking this, Jian Suiying started to actually take Li Yu's clothes off.

He was pretty experienced at taking off little boys' pants, after all. He began by taking off Li Yu's shirt with great effort; Li Yu made a noise and wanted to flip over, but turned back halfway.

This startled Jian Suiying, and he stopped what he was doing.

After a while, seeing that Li Yu had fallen asleep again, he decisively threw the clothes to the side and started untying his belt. Just as Jian Suiying unzipped Li Yu's zipper and pulled his trousers down with a treasure hunt-like excitement, a cold voice suddenly rang from above his head: "What are you doing?"

At that moment Jian Suiying really felt like a red-handed thief and his heart gave a violent jump. The blood instantly rushed from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet, making him subconsciously want to jump out of bed and run away but, fortunately, he endured the urge.

He looked up and saw Li Yu squinting at him with bloodshot eyes, a hazy gaze, still drunk and lacking confidence in his words. Jian Suiying, however, noticed that his fists were already starting to clench.

"I... I took off your clothes for you, or else you’d be uncomfortable. Why did you wake up?"

"...Get off." Li Yu was truly tired. His brain was sluggish, and he didn't have the strength to jump up and give him a beating, so he could only warn in a deep voice, "Get off me."

Jian Suiying really wanted to move his body away but in the end he didn't, instead tilting his neck to look at Li Yu.

Li Yu closed his eyes and tried to wake himself up. When he opened them again his gaze was very cold: "I'll say this again, get off."

He didn't think that Jian Suiying would actually dare to do anything to him, unless he had a death wish. But even with his thinking ability at a low ebb he knew what Jian Suiying was thinking. Right now, since he drank too much and had no energy in his body, the situation was obviously not on his side. He could only hope to hold Jian Suiying off for tonight, so he could deal with him properly tomorrow when he’s of a clear mind.

Jian Suiying put two hands on either side of Li Yu's head, looked down at him from above, and showed an up-to-no-good smile: "Xiao Li Zi, you know, this soft look of yours is much cuter than what you’re usually like. If only you were like this more."

Li Yu looked at him coldly and tried making a fist. That was a very strange feeling–He clearly, or seemingly, had clenched his fist, but it was as if that hadn’t been his own hand. With just a slight movement he became dizzy and his head hurt, badly.

Jian Suiying slowly leaned down and shifted his weight so that he’s supporting his body on his two elbows. His face almost touched Li Yu's, and it seemed that he was sniffing lightly at something.

Li Yu wasn’t sure if Jian Suiying had kissed him; even if it was a kiss, it was very, very soft--so soft, it was almost imperceptible. He raised his fist and smashed it into Jian Suiying's back, but Jian Suiying easily grabbed his wrist and pressed his it back against the bed.

"Xiao Li Zi, you can't even stand still, much less punch people. Don't be so nervous, I just want to kiss you a bit...Wouldn’t it be great if you were always like this..."

As soon as he finished talking Jian Suiying gently held Li Yu's lips in a kiss.

Li Yu could only feel his lips being bitten and pulled at gently. The tip of a slippery tongue slipped into his mouth, wantonly stirring and teasing about in his oral cavity. There was no place for Li Yu’s tongue to hide from Jian Suiying in this chase, so it could only be entangled with his, and clear saliva came to wet the corners of both their mouths. It was a very sexy, yet gentle kiss. Li Yu didn't know if he had been so powerless that he didn't even have the strength to bite him again, that he could only let him have his way.

Jian Suiying whispered in a hoarse voice, "Li Yu..."

He pressed against Li Yu's body, slowly but skillfully rubbing against Li Yu's lower half.

Jian Suiying had enough of his lips and started kissing at his chest.

Li Yu gasped and said darkly, "Jian Suiying, have you... had enough of living…"

Young Master Jian said as he kissed: "To die beneath a peony flower, I’d be honored even as a ghost…[3] What do you think I'm going to do? * you? Don't worry, I'm not that much of an animal."

"So what…are you doing…right now?"

Jian Suiying laughed in a low voice: "I just want to taste you a little bit." continuing downwards as he spoke.

Li Yu’s whole body shook, and he was so shocked his eyes shot wide open in an instant.

Jian Suiying laughed in a low voice: "Aren’t you a spirited one? Xiao Li Zi, tell me the truth, have you ever used this?"

Li Yu was both embarrassed and angry. Now more than half awake, he hissed angrily, "You’re shameless!"

Jian Suiying laughed with a “hmph”, "Don’t be shameless along with me, then."

Li Yu struggled to sit himself up, but Jian Suiying gave him a haphazard push, and he was back down again.

Jian Suiying looked at him with narrowed eyes and licked his lips provocatively.

Blood rushed to Li Yu's head in an instant, and he, almost hopelessly, watched Jian Suiying go down on him again.

From Li Yu's throat came a low, rapid moan.

For a young, inexperienced virgin, this was a truly powerful, yet terrifying stimulus. For a moment, he felt his field of vision go white and everything around him become surreal.

Young Master Jian had never done this for anyone, but he didn't mind doing it for Li Yu at all. He only wanted to take advantage of Li Yu a little bit, and make him unable to forget this for the rest of his life.

Li Yu was so overstimulated that he couldn't say a word, and his hands reached for Jian Suiying's hair subconsciously. He threaded his five fingers into those dark locks, holding on to them, pleading silently.

Li Yu was only a little virgin, and he truly couldn't stand this kind of stimulation, so he gave up his weapons and surrendered in no time[4], shooting the defenseless Jian Suiying a full mouthful.

Jian Suiying quickly got up and spit it out.

Li Yu blushed impossibly red, looking at him at a loss of what to do.

Jian Suiying glanced at him and wiped away some of the bodily fluid at the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand. He said with a laugh, "This isn’t good, Xiao Li Zi. To blow your load this quickly–you have a problem down there or something?"

Any male being doubted or ridiculed in that area would, in their heads, want to murder the one who’s doing so, and Li Yu was no exception. He fiercely glared at Jian Suiying, as if he would pounce on him the next second.

However, one sentence from Jian Suiying shattered half of his composure; he said, "What, you don’t want to admit that you got off just now?"

Li Yu took a look at himself. He was naked, trousers at his knees, and dangling off of his lower half was little brother Li[5], who had only just softened and was still warm. This messy situation made him utterly ashamed and angry.

He had never, in his whole life, felt as embarrassed as he did right now…he actually ejaculated inside the mouth of the man he most wanted to trample under his feet. What the hell was wrong with this world.

Jian Suiying knew to take what he can get, and he had no intention of prolonging the fight after he had enough. For one it might be physically dangerous for him to stay any longer, and two, it'll be dawn soon, and it would be difficult to explain to Jian Suilin when he, too, would have woken up. Thus, Mr. Hooligan Jian left Li Yu, who had been at a loss and heavily distraught in both body and mind after being **ed by him, alone by himself and ran off satisfied and refreshed.

After arriving home, he had no plans of going to work and fell asleep after throwing himself onto the bed, figuring he’d think about his next steps when he woke up. Just like when he was a kid–he’d still have some scruples before doing those questionable things, but once he’s in trouble he immediately threw all fucks out the window and rolled with what’s broken, figuring that since he’s in for a beating and yelling at from the old man anyways, he might as well just relax and eat, drink, whatever.

Swaggering about from childhood to adulthood, Young Master Jian casually carried this not-give-a-fuck attitude simply because he followed one incredibly dickish life creed in regards to his relationships, which was "It’s not like he’ll kill me."

This time he slept until past two in the afternoon. When he woke up and turned on his phone, a cacophony of missed calls and text messages immediately jumped out at him, pretty much all from Xiao Lin Zi and Secretary Liang.

He called Secretary Liang first, and Xiao Liang reported some work-related matters to him, discussed a few upcoming plans, and then asked some questions like when he'd come to work and so on. After hanging up, he thought about it for a bit and, in the end, returned Xiao Lin Zi’s call, mostly because he wanted to ask about Li Yu.

Xiao Lin Zi's voice was not very energetic; typical hangover aftermath.

"Brother, you finally answered the phone."

"What's going on?"

"Uh, I heard from Li Yu that you’re the one who brought us to the hotel yesterday. Brother, I'm sorry for causing you trouble."

Jian Suiying snorted: "Nice of you to know that. Don’t fucking drink if you can’t hold your liquor. Know yourself."

Jian Suilin said aggrievedly: "They insisted on getting us drunk..."

"Work on this alcohol tolerance of yours. No man of the Jian family is a coward when it comes to alcohol. I used to help dad drink, and you have to help me drink in the future."

Jian Suilin chuckled twice, his voice very soft: "Brother, don't worry, I will drink for you as much as you want."

Jian Suiying hmphed, "You brat, only your words sound pretty. Uh, where are you? Are you still at the hotel?"

"Yeah, I can't get up, my head hurts."

"Where's Li Yu?"

"In the next room... eh? Someone’s knocking on the door, might be him."

After that Jian Suiying heard the rustle of someone getting out of bed and he was suddenly so nervous, even his heart was beating faster.

He soon heard Li Yu's voice, a little tired but tone very caring: "Suilin, are you feeling better?"

"My head hurts. I don't even want to get up…How about you, are you feeling better?"

Jian Suiying heard the sound of Li Yu entering and closing the door. He said, "I'm okay, I asked the waiter to buy some medicine–I’ll bring some for you. Have you eaten? Eat something first, and then take the medicine."

"I don’t feel like eating...you drank most of the alcohol for me yesterday, so you should be feeling worse than me, right? Have you taken any medicine?"

The two went back and forth, which left a sour taste in Jian Suiying’s mouth as he listened on. He even felt a little jealous of Jian Suilin.

Li Yu seemed nice to everyone else, but only towards him, not only did the guy rarely smile, he’s afraid the guy now hated his guts. Although this had been single-handedly caused by Jian Suiying himself, if Li Yu hadn’t been so difficult Jian Suiying wouldn’t have wanted the two of them to be in this embarrassing situation either. He truly wanted his relationship with Li Yu to to be romantic, yet full of warmth. To be honest, when it came to getting on people’s good side he, Jian Suiying, could really pamper Li Yu and make him very happy, but, unfortunately, the guy didn’t care for it.

He heard Li Yu ask, "Huh? You’re calling someone?"

Jian Suilin said "Ah, It's my brother..." He put the phone to his ear, "Brother, it's Li Yu, he woke up before I did."

Jian Suiying didn't know if he’s being too sensitive: he heard a dull sound which seemed to be Li Yu heavily throwing something onto the table. His heart sank, and he hummed twice perfunctorily: "Take care of yourselves, I'll hang up then." and hurriedly hung up the phone after saying that.

Imagining the disgusted expression Li Yu’d show on the other side upon hearing his name, the usually careless Young Master Jian suddenly felt pain in his heart. He rested at home for a day and didn’t go out. The next day, he woke up at seven o'clock sharp due to his biological clock and, after tidying up, drove to work.

When he arrived at the company’s front door, even someone as thick-skinned as Jian Suiying felt a little apprehensive at the thought of seeing Li Yu soon.

Jian Suiying rubbed his nose and bit the bullet, going in.

As soon as he arrived upstairs, he saw Li Yu talking to Secretary Liang with his back to him outside his office. Today Li Yu wore a gray-green shirt with black trousers, and the fittingly tailored clothes perfectly complemented his broad shoulders, narrow waist, and slender legs. He slightly stooped down to match Secretary Liang's height, looking warm and gentlemanly. Just a back figure made Jian Suiying's heart beat faster and unable to help himself.

Jian Suiying gave a deliberate cough.

The two in discussion simultaneously turned their heads to him.

Li Yu's eyes were serene and ice cold. Jian Suiying took one glance and found it impenetrable, which slightly frightened him and sent a chill creeping into his heart.

Secretary Liang put on a relieved expression: "President Jian, you're finally here. Take a look at this, I'm only waiting on you..."

Jian Suiying took the document, glanced at Li Yu hurriedly, and entered the office first.

Li Yu followed him.

Jian Suiying leaned against his large table, folded his arms around his chest, and put on a casual expression: "Have you read this report? Give me a brief description of it. Oh, by the way, well done on the last contract. You learned a lot after editing it three times, right?"

Li Yu gave a slight tilt of his head and looked at him coldly.

Jian Suiying felt a bit guilty: "Uh, let's talk business at work and the rest after work, how about that?"

Li Yu's demeanor changed and he suddenly rushed at Jian Suiying. Jian Suiying's eyes went wide as he was forcefully slammed down, and half of his body was lying back flat on the big table, the impact causing a burst of pain in his shoulder blades.

Li Yu’s elbow harshly pressed down on the space above Jian Suiying's collarbone, putting considerable pressure on his throat. Jian Suiying's face immediately turned red, and he began to have difficulty breathing. Li Yu's expression was fierce and cruel, his face close to Jian Suiying; the breath coming from those thin lips sprayed across Jian Suiying's face, and he said, voice not loud but extraordinarily cold: “You with the last name Jian[6], for Suilin's sake I’ll give you face one last time. If you dare to provoke me one more time, I will make you regret it for the rest of your life."

Jian Suiying's breath stagnated for a while, and he felt a strange, dull pain in his chest. Almost instantly, his anger gushed out. In his whole life, no one dared to talk to him like this. No matter where he went, who wouldn’t respectfully call him "Young Master Jian"? Who were you, Li Yu, in comparison? You're just a brat with no accomplishments and no status. It’s one thing to reject him multiple times, but now he dared to talk to him like this!

Jian Suiying's eyes went round with anger, and he delivered a hard kick to Li Yu's thigh with a bent knee. Li Yu ‘s elbows slightly loosened from the pain, and Jian Suiying took the opportunity to push him off. In his anger, Jian Suiying swept everything that had been on the table to the ground, pointed straight at Li Yu and yelled: "I fucking dare you to repeat what you just said! Who the fuck do you think you are? I’m giving you face by fancying you! What, you want to say you didn't get off last night? And now you pretend to be a victim? What, you think everything good in this world belongs to you or something? Fuck you, how dare you fucking talk to me like this!”

Those words completely infuriated him and Li Yu looked like he could eat someone alive. At this point one could say the two of them were past the point of no return, and he hissed in a low voice: "Fucking hell, this young master right here hates people like you who stick to me without shame or face the fucking most. Who do you think you are? If you weren’t Suilin's brother, I’d beat you every time I see your face!"

Jian Suiying's face was flushed with anger and he jumped on Li Yu, about to beat him up.

Li Yu dodged and grabbed him by the shoulders, and the iron pincer-like hands almost clenched into his flesh. He delivered a hard punch that landed right in the center of Jian Suiying's abdomen. Jian Suiying almost vomited, and he held his stomach for a long time after that, unable to recover.

Li Yu grabbed his hair and looked at him viciously: "What other disgusting things do you want to do to me? C’mon, tell me. Let me see just how many fucking lives you have."

Jian Suiying felt as if it was the first day he knew Li Yu. Li Yu in his impression was calm, reserved, a man of few words who treated people with courtesy and respect. Sometimes he even thought that Li Yu was a little shy. Just how badly had he offended Li Yu to bring out such a scary side out of that kind of person? Jian Suiying just didn't get it, it was clearly him who gave him a blowjob and serviced him well, why did he act if he had been raped and was now holding a grudge against him, fuck!

Jian Suiying also glared at him viciously and slammed his head into Li Yu's chest. Li Yu retreated in shock, and Jian Suiying returned all that he had suffered with an elbow to his stomach.

Li Yu took quite a few steps back to stabilize his body.

The two adjusted their facial expressions and rushed into each other.

Although both of them were red-eyed with anger, the fight couldn't help looking a bit funny, since not only were they trying to not make a sound, they also avoided attacking each other's faces. It’s one thing to vent anger and hatred, but the two of them haven't lost their minds, and both of them knew that if anyone beyond this door caught anything between them, there would be bigger headaches than a beating waiting for them.

While fighting Jian Suiying cursed Li Yu for being so heavy handed, so damn harsh. He had been worried about hurting him but the guy didn't bother being polite with him at all, so he got riled up and started going at Li Yu with heavy punches also.

The two of them were rolling back and forth on the thick woolen rug; one moment he had him under him, the next he was riding on top of him.

Li Yu delivered a kick to Jian Suiying's stomach and sent Young Master Jian's back straight into a hardwood table leg. This move really did a number on him; he curled up and immediately went silent, unable to recover for a good while.

Li Yu, covering his stomach and holding onto his thigh, clambered up from the ground with a grimace and panted as he looked at Jian Suiying, who had a distorted expression on the floor.

The two of them were covered with shoe prints; especially their trousers, a truly horrific scene.

Li Yu was too heavy handed, and Young Master Jian truly suffered a big loss this time. His whole body felt so much pain that he didn’t even dare to move anything. He had never fought so humiliatingly in his life, and he felt that he lost because he, surprisingly, didn’t want to hurt Li Yu. What a fucking disgrace. Jian Suiying felt so miserable that he wanted to lie down here for the rest of his life and never get up again.

Li Yu moved his arms and legs around a bit. Then, he went ahead and dragged Jian Suiying up from the floor and threw him on the leather couch, looking at him with full contempt: "Still want to fight?"

Jian Suiying cursed, grabbed an ashtray from atop the coffee table, and threw it at him.

Li Yu dodged it in a flash, but all the water[7] from the ashtray landed on him. Li Yu looked at the mess, and, thinking about the unfitting behavior he exhibited just now, became even more angry with Jian Suiying.

Jian Suiying gritted his teeth and jumped off the sofa, wanting to have a go at Li Yu again. Li Yu had been prepared for this and shoved him back onto the sofa with one push of his hand, his body then pressing onto his. With one hand he pressed down on his chest, and he put the other around his neck, pressing at the carotid artery with his thumb. Even though he hadn’t exerted any strength yet, his eyes were full of cold threats: "From now on, erase all those disgusting thoughts from your head!"

Jian Suiying was so embarrassed he became angry, and Li Yu's undisguised disgust caused his self-esteem to suffer an unprecedented blow. This was the first time he had been so despised by someone he was actively pursuing, and it could be said to be the greatest failure of his life so far. He had always been the type where things needed to go his way, and he, at this very moment, finally lost his patience with Li Yu after tolerating him several times. He thought to himself: you made me lose this much face, I couldn’t possibly leave you any better off. He narrowed his eyes as he looked at Li Yu: with things as they are, nothing can happen between them now. If that’s the case, what else did he have to worry about? Or course he’ll do as he pleased. He had decided–he’ll just disgust Li Yu to death to vent his anger.

He showed a frivolous smile: "You think you get to decide what goes on in my head? I’m currently thinking of ways to fuck you–do you like doing it the cowgirl or sideways? What are you going to do? Drill a hole in my head and dig my brains out?"

Li Yu's eyes were on fire, his thumb began to press down, and his lips were trembling with anger: "You...you have no sense of shame…You..."

Jian Suiying's face flushed red: "cough, cough...I do what I want...how about it, you can’t...do anything…about it...me liking you, is...giving you face..."

At that time, Li Yu really wanted to strangle Jian Suiying. No one had ever stirred up his anger to such an extent. As expected, he had not misunderstood Jian Suiying since childhood: this person was not only a narrow-minded bully, but also a shameless person with no morals to speak of. Recalling this man's oppression and abuse of Jian Suilin over the years, as well as all those shameless thoughts he had towards him, Li Yu felt that by not strangling him, he’d be leaving a disaster upon humanity.

The force from Li Yu’s hand caused Jian Suiying’s face to go red and veins to bulge from his neck. He slammed his knee against the side of Li Yu’s waist, and Li Yu's face paled from the pain. His hands loosened, and Jian Suiying took the opportunity to throw Li Yu off the sofa, coughing as he got back onto the ground. Standing at a standstill with Li Yu across the coffee table, he took a cursory look at the distance as well as the obstacles between them, and decided that Li Yu couldn't possibly fly over here and bite his head off; thus that God-Forsaken mouth opened like a flood gate, and Jian Suiying couldn’t close it even if he wanted to.

"Li Er [8], just what the fuck do you not like about me? What part of me, Jian Suiying, is not spectacular? Look at my face, my body–I even last longer than others in that way, you sure you don’t wanna give it a try? Everyone that did said I’m fantastic, you know." Jian Suiying watched Li Yu's features twist into something akin to an alien, and a perverted pleasure swelled in his heart.

"You liked what I did last night, huh? That’s really nothing. If you’ll just be with me, I promise you satisfaction in both body and mind every single day. But seriously, you were a little too fast yesterday. What are you, “The Flash”[9]? Hey, there’s nothing wrong with you down there, right? Wanna go to the hospital? Oh no, going to the hospital would be kind of embarrassing, huh. Oh, I know. There's this old Chinese doctor who specializes in premature ejaculation–want me to introduce him to you? Look at how red your face is–don’t be so embarrassed, big brother just cares about you."

Li Yu's calmness and self-control were gone in an instant, and right now he’s just a pissed off kid who wanted to give the other party a piece of his mind to dispel his own anger.

The word “afraid” did not exist in Jian Suiying's dictionary, as he had never really been afraid of anyone growing up. Although Li Yu's expression looked a little scary right now, it’s not as if he could actually do anything to him, so there’s no one stopping him from bullying Li Yu in an attempt to mend his broken heart.

Although he didn’t show it, he’s actually really, really sad about this, because he’s certain that Li Yu was the person he had adored the most in his life thus far. His past partners were nothing compared to Li Yu. Even though he initially approached Li Yu with the intention of just playing with him, after learning more about him he realized that Li Yu was by no means a person who’s only good for his looks. He was still too young now, but in a few years, he would become someone who can stand side by side with him. Such a person could not be seen as a toy.

Maybe…maybe he had wanted a serious relationship with Li Yu or something.

As soon as this idea entered his head he felt a little ridiculous. Li Yu was too young. He liked young boys only because he liked their fresh skin and their youthful figure. Having something serious with kids of this age…even he felt weird about it. But with things as they are, there was no possibility of anything between them, and in addition to rage and irritation, he can't help but feel sad.

At this moment, Li Yu was already trying to get to him with clenched fists, and Jian Suiying walked in circles around him so that he couldn't get his wish, deliberately making him angry.

Li Yu scolded: "You brazen bastard! Someone like you...you, how dare you ... go fuck yourself!” All his life, he had never met anyone who dared to treat him like this. It's not that he hadn't been confessed to by members of his own sex before this, but they were all such obviously feminine-looking guys, so he had never felt what he felt when he learned that Jian Suiying was interested in him, this feeling of being…insulted. Towards boys who were as pretty as girls, like Jian Suilin, although he meant no disrespect, he had always envisioned himself playing a more masculine role, but Jian Suiying actually wanted to...

Li Yu's head was about to explode. He desperately wanted to use violence to prove that he was the dominant one, the one who could trample anyone under his feet, the one who could do anything he wanted; he wanted that idiot Jian Suiying to understand that all those disgusting thoughts he had towards him were wishful over-thinking. He couldn’t quell the flames of anger in his heart otherwise.

Jian Suiying didn’t quite have as many thoughts running through his head. It’s only animal instinct to desire mating with an attractive individual, and to be angry from being, cruelly, rejected by said individual, was only the most instinctive of instincts.

While the two were in this deadlocked state, Li Yu's cell phone started ringing happily.

Neither of them had paid much attention to their phones in their fury. After a few rings, the ringtone brought Li Yu's sanity back amidst the volatile atmosphere–this was the ringtone he specially set for Jian Suilin.

Li Yu looked for the phone in the direction of the ringtone and finally found it under the table. He hurriedly picked it up, and his voice suddenly changed from a violent storm to a gentle drizzle: "Hey, Suilin."

Jian Suiying's eyes never left Li Yu's face and, the moment Li Yu changed his expression and tone, Jian Suiying was stunned. He suddenly felt that Li Yu was too...too nice to Xiao Lin Zi. He wasn’t sure if he’s just being oversensitive, but his mind immediately recalled each time the two were together: Li Yu definitely cared about Xiao Lin Zi, to the extent that it seemed a bit much at times. Jian Suiying's heart suddenly felt as if it was being clenched, and a series of questions echoed mercilessly in his mind, like the toll of a bell; Li Yu didn’t like Xiao Lin Zi. It's impossible. He wasn’t into men. It's impossible–was it possible?

Maybe it’s just how kids act around each other nowadays? He thought, maybe it’s only because he himself was gay that everybody else looked gay to him. In any case, he couldn’t accept Li Yu liking Xiao Lin Zi. He couldn’t even digest the mere thought.

He heard Li Yu say, "No, I still have work to do, so go eat first."

"Okay, bring me some lunch."

"...Yes, I’m with your brother right now." Li Yu gave Jian Suiying a cold look after he said this.

Jian Suiying cursed silently: you just fucking changed your expression faster than a whore took off her clothes. Even if you stare your eyes out, it won’t hurt a hair on my body.

Li Yu tried his best to control his voice as he asked, "Suilin asked what you’d like to eat for lunch, he’s bringing you a boxed lunch."

Jian Suiying roared loudly: "Eat my ass! What business do you have eating before work is done? Go starve!"

Angry, Li Yu violently hung up the call: "Jian Suiying, I will kill you today!" he said as he strided over in large steps.

Jian Suiying's whole body hurt and he was not particularly in the mood for a fight to the death, so he continued to hide behind the coffee table, toying with Li Yu as if he was a dog..

After a while, a cautious knock sounded at the door.

Jian Suiying shouted angrily, "Who’s there!"

Jian Suilin's gentle voice came in from the outside: "President Jian, no matter what's going on, you still have to eat lunch."

A trace of anxiety appeared on Li Yu's face. He helplessly looked at the mess that was himself and Jian Suiying; were Jian Suilin to walk in at this time, he’d truly have no idea how to explain this situation to him. He couldn’t possibly say something like "Your brother’s been harboring inappropriate thoughts towards me, so I beat him up", right?

Jian Suiying had also calmed down. He looked at himself, and then at Li Yu–fighting with a teenage intern in the CEO’s office, he actually couldn't afford to lose face like that either.

He called out to the person beyond the door: "Eat your food, leave us alone. We'll eat when we're done."

Jian Suilin hesitated, "Brother..."

"Fuck off, don't make me say it again."

Li Yu looked at him angrily and tried to temper his voice: "Suilin, don’t mind me. We'll be done soon, you can go on ahead."

There were a few seconds of silence beyond the door. Finally, the sound of footsteps leaving came through.

Jian Suiying haphazardly brushed through his now messy hair, gave Li Yu a sideways glance, and snorted coldly, "What do we do now?"

Li Yu also looked at him coldly: "What do you suggest?"

Jian Suiying pointed a bit further into the room–his office had a lounge and bathroom: "Go wash your clothes and dry them with the hair dryer. Then leave."

Li Yu, too, knew that there was no other way about this and thus, with his volatile mood, walked into the bathroom.

Jian Suiying changed into another outfit in the lounge and, after changing, laid on the bed tiredly. Listening to the sound of running water in the bathroom, many parts of him hurt.

Li Yu fiddled about in the bathroom for half an hour or so. That half hour or so, for the both of them, felt incredibly long.

Although Li Yu’s anger was still bubbling on the inside, his head was much more calm. He’s not afraid of getting on Jian Suiying’s bad side–in fact, after finally having the opportunity to give the guy a beating as well as a piece of his mind, the anger he had had to hold in for so long was finally vented, and he felt truly fantastic–but he’s worried about how he’d explain all this to Jian Suilin if he ever found out about the terrible situation between the two of them.

He couldn’t have Suilin know about Jian Suiying's thoughts, or Suilin’d definitely stop talking to him. All these troubles and worries that Jian Suiying unilaterally brought onto him made him irritable and resentful.

On the other side, Young Master Jian lit a cigarette and laid on the bed, not wanting to move at all. He also began to regret going overboard today, but Li Yu was clearly the one who picked a fight first. He couldn’t stand being provoked and had never learned to hold his temper.

But, after all, he was the one who got on Li Yu’s first...

Jian Suiying was so irritated he pulled his hair. After thinking about it for a while, he felt that the most despicable thing was that Li Yu didn't have working eyes and didn’t fall in love with a perfect man like him. His eyes must be covered with dog shit, damn it. Was gender really that important? Life’s too short, why couldn’t he just enjoy the moment.

Now he’s starting to doubt what he previously believed: maybe, in this world, there really was such a thing as a straight man who couldn’t be bent no matter what, and he just had to meet one. This was the only way he could comfort his wounded pride, damn it.

He downed several cigarettes in one go, cleared his mind, and got out of bed.

The sound of the hairdryer in the bathroom hadn't stopped yet. He walked over, banged on the door, and said impatiently, "Still not fucking done? You think this is a hotel? Get out of here if you’re finished.”

The sound of the hair dryer stopped immediately. Li Yu opened the door with a frosty face.

Jian Suiying took a look at his shirt and trousers. They were probably a little wet still, but it was no longer obvious. He looked at Li Yu's face, which was beautiful even with a cold expression, and his heart ached a bit: "You come out, I want to talk."

Li Yu saw that he had no intention of jumping him, so he let off his guard a little and followed him out.

Jian Suiying sat on the office chair and looked at him haughtily: "Li Er, I’m not going to fuss with you over what happened earlier, since there were things that I, too, did wrong. Still, the main reason was that you are too narrow-minded... "

Li Yu's eyes slowly widened, and Jian Suiying let out a cough and quickly changed the subject, "Forget it, let’s not fight over right and wrong. Since you don’t like me to that degree, I won't cling to you. You really think that you are all that? Don’t be so nervous, I feel uncomfortable just looking at you."

Li Yu desperately resisted the urge to pounce him, clenching his hands into fists in his trouser pockets.

Jian Suiying was truly a fighter jet among bastards, and every part of this fighter jet was made up of shameless arrogance. He couldn't help thinking of Suilin: two people with similar blood and similar genes, how could there be such a big difference?

Jian Suiying tapped his fingers on the table with a sensible look on his face: "From now on, let's forget about the past, ah? From now on, the relationship between us will only be superior and subordinate. I’ll take good care of you, and you, do a good job for me."

The muscles on Li Yu's face were a little stiff, and he said coldly, "This couldn't be better."

Listening to those words, even though Jian Suiying had already known what he was thinking, he was still a little disappointed. He waved his hand annoyedly: "Okay, you can leave and get busy now. Oh, go buy me some lunch. The claypot rice from last time was good–bring it back with the pot."

Li Yu really wanted to grab his shoe and slap Jian Suiying across the face with it. He tried his hardest to suppress this urge and, eventually, left without saying a word.

Jian Suiying sneered as he looked at Li Yu’s retreating figure. He was not someone who would give up so easily; he only said these words to hold Li Yu back a bit first–a plan to delay the army, if you will. Li Yu's dislike towards him only made his evil fire blaze hotter and hotter, and his desire to conquer this summit, to prove himself, stronger and stronger.

He would later wait for two hours without receiving his lunch. He eventually got so hungry, he ate up all the biscuits that came with the coffee and the crispy biscuits, noisily crunched up by his sharp teeth, were swallowed into his stomach along with a sense of wronged resentment.

He hadn’t left the office all afternoon; everyone outside seemed to know that he was in a bad mood, and no one came in. Li Yu most certainly did not come in. Brewing in his anger, he hadn’t able to get anything done these couple of hours.

When it was almost time to leave work, someone finally knocked on the door.

"Who?" He said, mood foul.

"President Jian, it's me." Jian Suilin's voice came from beyond the door.

"Come in." Jian Suiying wiped his face and arranged his rigid features back in place.

As soon as Jian Suilin came in he saw the documents, water cups, and phones Jian Suiying had swept to the floor. He frowned slightly and leaned forward to pick them up, and, as he picked up each item, he asked: "Brother, what happened for you to be this angry? I thought that you and Li Yu got along pretty well?"

Jian Suiying coughed: "Personally, we certainly get along well. But business is business, and I draw a clear line between work and personal matters."

Jian Suilin put all the things on the table and organized them one by one: "Can you tell me about it? Li Yu’s not saying anything, maybe I can help him?"

"No need, he had come to his senses after I taught him a lesson, and he probably wouldn’t make this kind of mistake again in the future. It's over."

Jian Suilin glanced at him suspiciously and said in a slow voice, "Brother, have you eaten?"

“Yeah.”

"Brother, you look very tired. How about I give you a shoulder massage?"

Jian Suiying yawned and leaned back into the chair relaxedly. "Come on. " he said, and closed his eyes.

Thus Jian Suilin started massaging his shoulder with practiced skill. Growing up, if anything, he was an absolute expert on servicing his big brother; as a kid, he did no small number of things like serving tea and running errands. Jian Suiying also found this perfectly reasonable. After all, life has been better for the both of them since Xiao Lin Zi learned to get along with him.

Jian Suilin kneaded Jian Suiying's shoulders with perfectly controlled force. He stared at the small piece of skin and the slight bump of the clavicle exposed through Jian Suiying's collar. If he just slightly lowered his head, he would smell the refreshing scent of Jian Suiying's shaving water, and if he was to just go a little lower that, it was as if he could touch the skin of his face.

Jian Suilin carefully controlled his erratic breathing: "The bed’s right there, go sleep if you're so sleepy. It's uncomfortable here, you'll catch a cold."

"It’s okay, I should have gotten some shut-eye at noon..." Jian Suiying yawned again and looked at his watch, "Go bring Li Yu along, I’ll take you two to the construction site."
